Spicy Milk Chocolate with Dried Mango, Fiji & Vietnam
Inspired by the nonchalant question from Onyx co-owner, Jon Allen, "What about a spicy chocolate?" Preston got to work. Tinkering with different cacao origins and spice blends, an all-Asian inspired chocolate bar was born. He started with nutty, earthy cacao from Matasawalevu, Fiji and sweet, spiced cacao from Ben Tre, Vietnam. Next, a gentle, spicy kick arrives from the addition of a Korean Red Pepper and a sweet fruity finish from the dried mango bits.
