Da Hong Pao Tea Dark Milk Chocolate
Da Hong Pao (大红袍), the most famous of all Wuyi cliff teas, is a careful blend of specially selected cultivars to create the deep aroma, smooth sweetness and rock-grown character. Rou Gui (肉桂) provides a strong structured body while Jin Mudan (金牡丹) and Rui Xiang (瑞香) lift the aroma with fruity-floral fragrance.
Two rounds of medium level roasting brought out the depth and complexity of these teas from the Zhengyan core area of Wuyi Mountains.
Paired with creamy and nutty cacao from Triang, Malaysia, the flavour is balanced, layered and richly aromatic.
