In the centre of the tropical forest of Belize which opens onto the Caribbean Sea, dominates the mountain range of the Maya Mountains. At its feet, multiple crops of bananas, mangoes and coconut cohabit with rare and exceptional cocoa trees. In 2019, Maya Mountain Cacao received the Cocoa of Excellence Award, which placed it in the Top 20 cocoas worldwide. Barre Clandestine has worked this bean to express delicate aromas of honey and flowers, with a final note of pineapple.
