Semilla Escuela Cacao is a collective of like minded chocolate makers in Nicaragua, dedicated to promoting a deep connection between South American communities and the art of cacao processing. They promote sustainability and the development of high-quality cocoa production through their field school where they work with producers to strengthen their crop capacities and install sustainable practices. They work to transform lives and local economies by developing rural business models focused on cacao, promoting gender inclusion at all stages of the process, and the design and creation of innovative products based on cacao.
