Misk’i T’ika is the Quechua term for honeyed or sweet flower. Elder and Linden flowers infuse this chocolate made with vibrant and floral cacao from the southern Peruvian Jungle. The cacao here is farmed by the Nomatsigenga and Sonomoro Indigenous communities, which have historically been oppressed by farming coca leaves, but in the last 15 years efforts have been made by the government to invest in alternative crops such as cacao and coffee, giving the farmers more stability and a better quality of life
