Grain-de-sail

Grain-de-sail was founded in 2010 by twin brothers who are experts in renewable energy. The company owns and charters a modern commercial sailboat to transport the raw ingredients sourced directly from organic farms in the Dominican Republic and Peru, back to France. The chocolate bars are produced in France, and then sailed to the U.S., thereby completely offsetting the carbon emissions during transportation. In addition, Grain-de-Sail is proud to remain privately owned, helping to define a strategy that places the planet and society at the same level as profitability, and creating a project that is truly regenerative. On the path to getting B-Corp certified, Grain-de-Sail promotes taste, adventure, and sustainability.
