Éclat Chocolate’s founder and Master chocolatier Christopher Curtin set out from Madison, Wisconsin to the House of le Compagnons du Devoir, home of the premier guild of pastry chefs and artisans in France. Here he worked alongside the best journeyman pastry chefs in Europe and became the first American to be awarded the honor of German Pastry Chef and Chocolatier. Christopher honed his skills in the finest chocolate houses of Belgium, Switzerland, France, Germany and Japan.
