Bixby Chocolates

Named after her great-great-grandparents, Bixby Chocolate was founded by Kate McAleer in December 2011. Bixby is the first bean-to-bar chocolate company in Maine and all their products are made in a 125-year-old historic building and former ice plant located on a working marina in Rockland, Maine. Her bars and almost all her other confections are organic, Non-GMO, Kosher, Gluten-Free, and Vegan. Bixby Chocolate products are all made with ethically sourced cacao, and the company is certified Women-Owned.
