Aroko is an Italian company started by Dubraska and Johonny, a Venezuelan couple who have lived in Italy for ten years. Aroko was born from the desire to introduce the public to the full quality and diversity of Venezuelan cocoa. No country has as many varieties of cocoa beans as Venezuela, so they decided to embark on this adventure to bring everyone a little piece of the land where they grew up.

They work directly with various cocoa producers throughout Venezuela and after carefully evaluating their processing methods and the sustainability of their production, they select the best beans available and produce chocolate following the artisinal method of "Bean to Bar". Every aspect of production—from selecting the cocoa to crafting the chocolate, to releasing the finished product for sale—is handled directly by them, in their laboratory.
