Tea & Chocolate Tasting at Callisto Tea House in Pasadena - Sunday Oct 19 at 10:00am

Please join us for our very first tea & chocolate pairing with the amazing folks at Callisto Tea House. This event will be held at Callisto Tea House, 1359 N Altadena Drive in Pasadena on Sunday October 19th at 10am.

The event will present four different tea and chocolate pairings, carefully curated by Kala from The Chocolate Dispensary and Wendy and Nathan from Callisto. We'll learn how the ancient tea leaf and cacao have been used for thousands of years as medicine, in ceremony, as cultural exchange, and in social gatherings. The tasting will also explore how different types of teas and chocolate offer wide-ranging flavors and aromatic experiences, enhancing and changing the tasting experience of each individual component.

Callisto specializes in Gong Fu Tea, the traditional Chinese way of tea, which teases out flavor notes and characteristics with each brew. They carry teas from all over the world and offer an Afternoon Tea service with house-made pastries and toasts.
