Satocao, São Tomé 70%
The first and only Satocao São Tomé bar made in North America – Letterpress had to air freight it in. São Tomé and Príncipe is located on the western equatorial coast of Africa. A former Portuguese colony, the country has a terrible past of slavery. Now one of the most stable democracies in Africa, São Tomé has some of the most unique soil and climate conditions for cacao, but remains extremely poor. Satocao was established in 2015 as a certified organic co-op of over 400 farmers from seven communities. Letterpress Chocolate was able to secure a very small amount of the very best beans they sampled to create a unique blend for this limited edition!
